Sept. 1, 2009 Day 4

Hello all.

Thank you for this great map you sent us Herman. You are not making fun of us now, are you?? The squares on this map has pictures of a vehicle being towed. Click on it and it will be clearer. Great map. Herman said: It's the "International Towing Service".

We woke up this morning to 6c outside. But it soon warmed up and stayed sunny and warm all day.

First thing in the morning we biked or walked to the automotive museum on the campground. Peter and Marcel were in their glory.

This was the cutest car of them all.

After that the 3 sisters went to the botanical gardens, also in the park.

There also was a butterfly conservatory.

Some very colorful small birds.

The gardens were beautiful.

Some very unique flower art creations.

A huge bee

Buffalo

Our next stop was Grand Falls & Gorge.

Would have loved to see this in the early spring

Some great shots off the bridge.

Here the motor home had attitude again. The ignition seized up and Peter came to the rescue once again

Our next stop was in Hartland. This covered bridge is the world's longest covered and was completed in 1899. It is 390 metres (1282 feet) long and spans the Saint John River.

The engine seized again, and we decided to head for the closest campsite. It was Yogi Bear Jellystone Park. In Woodstock, N.B. A cute park geared to kids.

The road we were camped on. Immy and Peter were on Boo Boo Blvd. It took the men only a few minutes to solve the problem. A loose wire. Phew.. On the positive side, we had lots of time to relax and have a BBQ. We were all in bed by 10.
