"Lakies Head" was the next scenic look out point.
Jennie and I. Marcel had the old camera with him and took this shot.
Check out those "Rec-Vee" jackets. We appreciate even more all the planning and organizing you did for the Alaska trip Duane and Lynda. We thought to do a little advertising for you in return. This picture was taken Sept. 10th. But I thought it suited the day.
Jennie does almost all of the planning for the next day. She spends many hours looking at all the pamphlets and booklets we have. If it wasn't for her endless energy to organize and plan, we would not have seen and done half we things we did. Thanks Jennie, we really appreciate all your efforts.
The scenery is so similar.
I managed to snap this as we turned a corner. Dark stormy clouds with the sun rays peeking through.

Nobody felt like cooking in the rain, so we went to a restaurant once again. And very slow service it was. By the time we were finished it was 7:15, dark and raining heavily. A half hour later we found the campsite on a small peninsula. In Cheticamp. N.S. Marcel went to bed at 8:15 and slept till 7:45 the next morning. He was pooped.
Blogging was not an option again, so we all hit the sack very early.
love to you all (especially to our Rec-Vee friends)

Great to see your blog. Would you believe we spent 10 days on Bell Island? Of course we had a tour guide. ( a friend from work was home for the summer and took us places you wouldn’t find otherwise. We spent at least 3 weeks in Newfoundland and could have taken more time. Seeing your pictures reminds us of our trip. We made it to the Okagnagan and back last week without any problems with the trailer. Surprise. I guess the new axles and springs made a difference. We have sold the house and are moving 50 miles north of here to an acreage near Olds on November 2nd, so will try and give people an new email address when we get it. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Look forward to your next edition on your blog. Louis and Laurel

Great Photos,we also did the Cabot trail, Newfoundland and PEI and loved it. Maybe will do it again in 2 years. You may have travelled close to Noel's home town of Amqui, Que. It is close to Matane and only about 60 - 70 miles from the New Burnswick border. We have had a busy summer RVing around AB an BC. Noel finished helping my cousin with combing on Friday. Our son Gaetan left last Sunday for Japan, his plans are to stay for a year, so we are planning to travel to Japan in the new year. Safe Travels Noel and Liz
ReplyDeleteThe Cabot Trail is the thing I remember most about our trips out east. Beautiful!
