Sept 6, 2009 Day 9

We went with Tom and Gerda to their church, and they escorted us back to our campsite. It was wonderful to see them both. After we said goodbye to them, we had a quick cup of soup and sandwich and were on our way by 1:50.
On route, we read about a 50 mile long yard sale, but we just saw a few. Not sure where the rest were.
We took Hwy 7 along the southeast shoreline of Nova Scotia along the Atlantic Ocean.
We crossed this small river which had several waterfalls. Named Liscomb waterfalls.
At one of our short pit stops, we found this cute path, but then found out that is was a 4-6 hrs walking , so we decided against that.
Driving along the coast for many hours, we saw a lot of scenery similar to this one and the one below. A very scenic drive, and another sunny gorgeous day.

At 6 o'clock, we arrived at Oasis Trailer and camping grounds in Antigonish, NS. We quickly did some laundry and had nasi for supper.
A few plans were made for tomorrow's trek, and off to bed by 10.
Good night.

  1. Hi Alida, Immy, Marcel, Peter and Jenny

Oh how we wish we were with you! The scenery is breathtaking. What is nasi? Are you eating lots of seafood out there? If you ever go out there again, Paul & I are going to rent a small unit and join the caravan. I better start walking now to prepare. We miss you! Love Janice & Paul

  2. Nasi is an Indonesian rise dish. Not to much sea food yet. And we miss you too.
